HALF DAY IGUASSU FALLS - BRAZILIAN SIDE
Duration: 3 hrs. 275 roaring cataracts and sparkling rainbows spanning
2.5 miles along the border lines of Brazil and Argentina. The thunderous
crash of water against the rocks amidst a forest full of birds, butterflies
and orchids takes one's breath away.
HALF DAY
IGUASSU FALLS - ARGENTINA SIDE
Duration: 4 hrs. Departure from hotel, bus takes a scenic highway to the
Argentine Iguazu Park. Visit starts with ample time to visit the upper
Argentinian falls, including the San Martin Falls. On the way back from
the falls, tour stops at the Argentine shopping district. Admittance ticket
to Iguazu's National Park is included. Important Note: as tour crosses the
border between Brazil and Argentina, passengers will undergo passport control.
Please be informed that if nationality of passenger requires entry visa, the
same will be requested by border authorities during this tour.
HALF DAY
ITAIPU HYDRO-ELECTRIC PLANT TOUR
Duration: 3:30 hrs. After a comfortable bus ride, one arrives at the Brazilian
side Public Relations Center of Itaipu Dam. Located at the main gate of the
Power Station. There, visitors will watch a 30-minute movie showing the different
phases of the construction from its beginning to its completition. After this,
stopping at strategic points for photographs, one will have time to enjoy the
might of this project. Important Note: Tour operates on request, except Sundays
and Brazilian and Paraguayan public holidays when it is closed. Visiting hours
are limited to 08h00 - 10h00 and 14h00 - 16h00.
HALF DAY
MACUCO SAFARI TREK & BOAT TOUR
Duration: 2:30 hrs. Tour schedule is adapted to Macuco's operating hours,
from 7:30 hrs. to 18:30 hrs. This has become one of the most popular tours
in the area. Transfer to the Macuco Trail in the Iguaçu National Park to
board an electrical powered trailer. The road is unpaved but accessible year
round. On this trip, passengers will get to know several different species of
sub-tropical plants and trees, including orchids and the heart-of-palm, which
grows in abundance at the park. With luck, animals and some of the beautiful
birds of the region may be sighted. After a 3-km jeep ride, a 600-meter walking
trek passing by the picturesque Macuco Falls, hidden in the forested canyon.
The trail brings one to the banks of the Iguaçu River, where passengers will
board a twin-engine boat (seating capacity: 25), specially designed for this
river's sailing conditions. Cruise up into the Iguassu Canyon, shooting several
rapids and arrive at the very base of the majestic waterfalls. As the experienced
pilot maneuvers in the midst of the falls themselves, passengers will have a
completely different view and experience a thrill never forgotten.
PARQUE
DAS AVES / BIRD PARK
Duration: 1 hrs. This is sold as an extension to one of the tours. The Parque
das Aves is located in the outskirts of Iguassu National Park. Visitors follow
a trail and observe many of the different species of birds of the region.
The Parque das Aves has a special area for butterflies. Trained guides explain
the mysteries of the surrounding forest and its inhabitants.

DO IGUASSU BY NIGHT
Duration: 4 hrs. Foz do Iguassu is a city that borders with 2 other countries,
Puerto Iguazu in Argentina and Ciudad del Leste in Paraguay. Tonight, you will
enjoy in just one place, the best of the folklore of these 3 countries that have
been sharing one of the Seven Wonders of the World - Iguassu Falls. The dance and
song of the 3 countries will take one across the borders and the uniqueness of each
culture and tradition, with a lot in common, but each one as special as the other.
There are 2 options of a By Night, after a delicious dinner at Churrascaria Rafain,
take a seat in their nightclub to enjoy a typical show, or cross the border to Argentina
and dine at the Casino and try one´s luck at one of the tables.
