The Southeast is the main port of entry to Brazil for visitors from all over the world. The place is more dynamic than in other parts of Brazil, making the region's contrasts and challenges all the more exciting.

Brazil's two largest cities are located in the Southeast. São Paulo is a large, cosmopolitan city devoted to business and industry. Rio de Janeiro, with its world-famous beaches, is more relaxed and fun-loving.

The region includes two other cities, Vitória capital of the State of Espírito Santo and Belo Horizonte, capital of the State of Minas Gerais, as well as number of fascinating smaller towns like Ouro Preto, Búzios, Angra dos Reis and Parati.

The Southeast is where things happen first in Brazil; its the place to feel the pulse of this huge country.
