Rio de Janeiro's Endless Beaches and Its Nightlife 6 nights - 7 days
Day 1:
Meet and greet at airport for transfer-in to hotel.
Afternoon half-day-tour to The Sugar Loaf Mountain including a visit to the Botanical Gardens.
Our clients are to go on a 770 feet high-cable-car-ride up to Sugar Loaf Mountain.
Built in 1912, Sugar Loaf is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. Tour is also to include a visit to the Botanical Gardens, created by Prince (Regent) Don João VI,
in 1808, who also grew the first imperial palm trees which are one of the main attractions there.
Night at leisure.
Day 2:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick-up at hotel for a 6 hr. beaches-tour: Barra da Tijuca; Recreio; Grumari; Prainha.
Tour is to include a stop for swimming and lunch at " Tia Palmira " Restaurant.
Rio by Night Tour: late samba-dancing at " Gafieira Estudantina ".
Day 3:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick-up at hotel for a half-day-Corcovado-tour, which is to include a visit to " Favela da Rocinha".
The statue of Christ Redeemer (38 meters high) rests atop Corcovado Mountain (2.330 feet) was inaugurated on the 9th of October 1.931.
The statue that is seen from a distance can be taken as a cross and is to symbolize a catholic nation: Brazil.
Afternoon at leisure.
Evening pick-up for a Rio by Night Tour: Plataforma 1 Show house. Tour is to include dinner at Marius Barbecue Restaurant. Beverages are not included.
Day 4:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick-up at hotel for a full-day-tropical-island-tour.
Half-way-bus-ride to Itacuruçá port for a schooner-boat-cruise. Tour is to include lunch on the Island. Bevereages are not included.
Evening at leisure.
Day 5:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Afternoon pick-up at hotel for a half-day tour to Santa Teresa.
Considered by many to be a nice place to live for its architecture and location (up the mountain but close to down town area),
it is taken as a place of art where many artists, sculptors and painters live and work. Tour is to include lunch at " Casa da Feijoada " but beverages are not included.
Afternoon at leisure.
Evening pick-up at hotel for a ride to northern part of Rio for dinner (at client's expense) at
" Feira Nordestina", a typical fair where one can try a bit of all types of Brazilian regional food.
It runs only on Saturdays.
Day 6:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick-up at hotel for a 6hr.-Niterói-beaches-tour.
A ride across Rio-Niterói Bridge to the other side of the bay where one can still find wild beaches.
Evening pick-up for a Rio by Night tour: New Show in Town - "Ela Brasil", a musical.
Tour includes dinner (excludes beverages) at Borsalino Restaurant.
Day 7:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick-up at hotel for a half-day shopping tour.
Afternoon at leisure.
Transfer-out.
Package includes:
1) 6 overnights in double room;
2) Breakfast-buffet;
3) all mentioned transfers and tours as per above program;
4) just the mentioned meals.
