Day 1:
Meet and greet at airport for transfer-in to hotel.
Afternoon pick up at hotel for a half-day city tour including a visit to the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Our clients are to go on a 770 feet high-cable-car-ride up to Sugar Loaf Mountain.
Built in 1912, Sugar Loaf is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. Night at leisure.
Day 2:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick-up at hotel for a full-day-cultural-tour - museums visitation including lunch at " Museu da República ":
M.A.M. (Modern Art Museum) - Finally set at Flamengo area, in 1.958 to encourage the production of modern art, the museum is also a mark in architecture for it was the result of the partnership between the
architect Affonso Eduardo Reidy and the landscaper Robert Burle Marx;
Museu Histórico Nacional (Historical Museum) - Founded in 1.922, the museum holds whole Brazilian history, in different types of art, from colonization era to very present moment time;
Museu Imperial da Irmandade de Nossa Senhora da Glória do Outeiro(Imperial Museum of Our Lady of Glory)
Nossa Senhora da Glória do Outeiro Church- The church was built in 1.714 .The museum was built in 1.939 and holds a piece of Portuguese-Brazilian barroc art.
This octagonal-shaped-church, in a colonial style, located on a hill (Outeiro), has fascinating walls decorated with Portuguese tiles;
At the church, Emperor Pedro the I (The first) got married. There, his daughter Princess Isabel was baptized too. However, it is known just as Outeiro da Glória . Due to the location, it is a magnificent site;
Museu de Arte Naif(Naïf Art Museum) - Holds an international collection of naif art. The collection shows works of artists from different countries. Artists have never entered any fine-arts- course;
Museu Nacional de Belas Artes(National Fine Arts Museum) Formerly Nacional School of Fine Arts. The museum was created in 1.937 and holds national and international works of art placed in time since the 17th century;

Day 3:

Morning pick-up at hotel for a full-day-Cultural-Walking-Tour including lunch at Confeitaria Colombo (excluding beverages):
Palacio do Itamaraty - Neo-Classic style.The palace was built for "Barão do Itamaraty", a Portuguese Baron.
Nowadays it keeps the Diplomatic-Historical-Museum;
Real Gabinete Português de Leitura - The Royal institution was founded in 1.837. However, the building started being built in 1.884. Three years later (1.887) it was concluded.
A piece of art with Portuguese marble all over;
Teatro Municipal - A replica of " L'Opera de Paris ". It was inaugurated on the 14th of July 1.909.
Eclectic style for it mixes barroc and classical traces .It is the most luxurious theatre in town;
Casa França-Brasil - Built in 1816 by Don João VI, it was to represent the alliance between Brazil and France when the French art-mission was brought to Brazil.
In 1.990 it became an artistic space for cultural purposes: exhibitions; expositions; conferences etc.;
Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil - Building of the first bank. Nowadays it works as a cultural space where one can find information on political and financial evolution of the country.
Casa Colombo - Inaugurated on the 17th of September 1.894, this eclectic stile building with traces of " noveau " became a meeting point for artists and politicians since the beginning of the century.

Day 4:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick up at hotel for a half-day-tour to Santa Teresa.
Considered by many to be a nice place to live for its architecture and location (up the mountain but close to down town area) , it is taken as a place of art for there live and work many artists , sculptors and painters .
Tour is to include a visit to " Chácara do Céu " and " Parque das Ruínas " Museums and also a break for lunch at " Casa da Feijoada " (black beans with chopped pork meat) with no beverages included.

Afternoon at leisure.
Evening pick-up at hotel for a Rio by Night Tour: " Plataforma 1" Show house and dinner at Marius Barbecue Restaurant.
Day 5:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning
Morning pick-up at hotel for a full day tour to Petrópolis including lunch (no beverages included)Petrópolis is a mountain resort where the Royal family used to spend vacation time.
After that, Imperial family set a house there .The palace, nowadays holds the Imperial Museum.
Also know as the City of Flowers, the ride itself is magnificent.
There, one can also visit The Crystal Palace (an orchidarium) and the Cathedral.

Day 6:
Breakfast-buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick up at hotel for a full day tour to Folk Art Museum Casa do Pontal and Sítio Burle Marx.
Tour is to include lunch at "Tia Palmira "Restaurant (sea food).
The museum keeps the personal Brazilian folk art collection (from the last 50 years) of this French designer Mr. Jacques Van de Beuque .
Sítio Burle Marx was once the house of famous landscaper Roberto Burle Marx. After his death became to be an ecological site that holds, nowadays, more than 1.200 different species of international fauna and flora.
Evening at leisure.
Day 7:
Breakfast buffet at hotel in the morning.
Morning pick up at hotel for a 6hr. Niterói tour.
Right on the other side of Guanabara Bay, clients are to visit MAC (Contemporary Art Museum built in 1.990 .It was a conception of famous Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer) and Santa Cruz fortress.
Tour is to include lunch at " À Mineira " Restaurant (beverages are not included) where one is to try the typical (regional) food of Minas Gerais State known as traditional.
Evening at leisure.
Day 8:
Morning breakfast buffet at hotel.
Morning pick up at hotel for a half-day-Corcovado tour, which is to include a ride through Tijuca Forest.
Evening at leisure.
Transfer out.
